Mississippi State University offers a variety of scholarships to students. The Office of Admissions and Scholarships administers scholarships for undergraduate students. This program is supported by a Rehabilitation Services Administration, U. S. Department of Education long-term training grant (#H129P140004), that will provide full or partial funding and stipends for 11 students annually. Most recipients are currently employed as rehabilitation counselors in state vocational rehabilitation agencies, although graduate students may apply. Stipends are based on academic achievement, recommendations of key references, stated and personal and agency need, ability to attend the three week residency program and ability to work at least a year i. the field to pay off the stipend through work activity. All complete applicants are automatically considered for then stipend.
