MS State Online Information Portal

The best place for you to start is the MS State Online Portal which is design specifically with you in mind. You’ll find all kinds of links to resources to help with papers and research. There are also great videos to help with the functional skills you may need – Word Formatting Tips & Tricks, Illustrator 101 and InDesign 101 just to name a few.

MaxxSouth Digital Media Center

The new Maxx South Digital Media Center empowers its users, whether novice or highly experienced, to perfect their digital applications skills. While there are great physical assets on campus, almost all of the material is accessible online. Tutorials on most Adobe and Microsoft programs can be found here. There are also a variety of online workshops held each semester. Go ahead and take a look! We’ve designed this center to make our students successful.


Library YouTube Channel

Everyone knows it’s the first place you go to learn how to do something, so it stands to reason that Mitchell Library has put a broad range of resources on its YouTube channel. Watch tutorials on research methods or how to access online articles and books. Software tutorials include Camtasia, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite programs. And there’s so much more…
